By engaging Just About Tech (JAT) for services, the Client accepts these Terms and Conditions as a binding legal agreement. These terms apply to all services, quotes, and invoices provided.
Payment for billable hours is due within 7 calendar days of the invoice date and must be made via bank transfer using the account number provided on the invoice. Any additional costs, including but not limited to hardware purchases, software subscriptions, or third-party services, are to be paid upfront via online bank transfer before procurement.
Late Payment Fee: A fixed administration fee of $25.00 NZD will be applied to all invoices not settled within the 7-day period. This fee is a reasonable estimate of the administrative costs incurred by JAT in processing overdue payments, and is not intended as a penalty. Further action, including debt collection, may be initiated for persistent non-payment.
The Client agrees that JAT's liability for any loss, damage, or expense suffered by the Client or any third party, whether direct or indirect, arising from the provision of services is strictly limited.
Exclusion: JAT will not be held liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, consequential or indirect loss, or any damages unless such loss is proven to have resulted directly and solely from JAT’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct. JAT strongly recommends that the Client maintain up-to-date and complete data backups before any service is commenced.
Liability Cap: Notwithstanding the above, in no event shall JAT’s total aggregate liability to the Client exceed the total amount of fees paid by the Client to JAT for the specific service from which the liability arose.
